Good job MS on the personhood thing, but electing a black Governor was probably a step too much ... Tongue

With almost 14,000 votes counted, Arizona state senator Pearce is behind the recall challenger Lewis by about 53% to 45%

BTW, Democrat Liz Mathis has a huge lead in IA-18 so far (72-28).

Overall, a good night so far for the Democratic cause (except for the OH health law, where voters obviously still want to get screwed over by the health insurance companies).

If this holds, as far as I am concerned, this makes the day.

Hope it's still like that when I wake up in 8 hours.

G'night. Nerds. Wink

It's going down hard in my home county (Madison), which voted 57% for McCain.  That makes me doubly happy.

And neither Lafayette, Forrest, nor Oktibbeha (the college counties) are in yet, and those will probably give the biggest % to No (other than Hinds, maybe)

I think the horse is dead. You can stop beating it now.

Over half of De Soto came in, and, yes, it is 80% Yes, and statewide No share has fallen to 58%. Yep, this seems to be it.

Yep, I looked at the wrong proposition. Anyway, it's over. AP has said that much.

KY map: Pretty much what I expected. I'd also like to see a map with all the Galbraith votes stuck with Beshear.

At this point, I'd say if Barker holds on, Dems hold the Virginia Senate. All the other races are looking to be going their way. One will go to a recount, but as long as the Dem enters the recount with a lead, he'll hold on.
