Ron Paul is so Ron Paul and he has such Ron Paul ideas that will better this great Ron Paul and that's why I'm voting for Ron Paul.

Seriously though I'd vote for Obama, no contest.

This forum is so biased against Libertarians, their man gets nearly 40% of the vote.

They've lucky to get 4% in "real life." Tongue

In a general election match-up like this 40% of the vote (including my own) isn't too far off what I'd expect Ron Paul to get. There's a huge difference between actively supporting Ron Paul in a primary and voting for him against President Obama.

This forum is biased in favor of liberals more than anything else, but also to a lesser extent libertarians. The libertarians certainly have more sway here than in real life.

Didn't realize how many people on this forum support the Patriot Act and our military intervention in other countries.

When looking through these comments here, the Obama-supporters seem to be the silent majority ... Wink

It would be a great contest for so many reasons! Both are VERY policy oriented. Such a clear distinction in policy and willingness to discuss it intelligently. And because hating SS and Medicare is very unpalatable and Paul isn't the baby kisser type, we'd have so much less campaign fluff. Can you tell I hate folksy campaign schtick? And the best reason of all, Obama would win 1964 style.

I'd imagine its the same silent majority that votes Romney for winning every debate automatically without even watching.

Funny, that would mean Romney would do worse, seeing as how he wants to cut Medicare while Paul doesn't.

It'd certainly be a fun election.

The results of this poll are actually only a few points off what the actual result would probably look like. That's got to be a first for the forum.
