An examination has shown me that date seems to matter not. 1970's or 1930's, the results are similar enough to compare easily.

What I'm attempting to do is find the variance between party results. For example in the last example the Liberal and PC parties both have a variance of over 100 votes. I want to find what % that is, and, how that carries to other ridings. I then want to see if it's different if the riding is block vote or not.
