Haven't read this in a week or so. Anyone got the cliffnotes?

Basically, I got a promotion at work and am moving to Salt Lake City, Utah on August 18.

How long were you working at this job again?  You must have made quite an impression because wouldn't you still be under probation and not even covered by health insurance yet?

I started June 18.  When I first started, they kept mentioning over and over about the likelihood of a quick first promotion.  Sure enough, at the end of Week 4, they announced that interviews for these higher positions would be starting very soon.  I had the interview for the supervisor position on July 23 and found out that i had the job in Salt Lake City on July 30.  I'm not eligible for benefits until January 1, but I can still keep the Indian Clinic here in Oklahoma for my medicine and for a yearly checkup.  Probation was supposed to end on August 17 after 2 full months, but they liked me well enough because I was there early everyday, I passed all my tests by much more than the minimum score, and I had great Customer Satisfaction Survey results.

11 days until I'm out of Oklahoma!!  I am making great progress on my list, but there's still a lot more work to be done.  11 days is pretty much a week and a half.  At 4:30 tomorrow evening, it will be exactly 1.5 weeks.  When I leave next Saturday morning at 4:30 am, I will probably not return at all in the remainder of 2012.  We are currently less than 2 hours from Tuesday morning, at which time I will be 2 days away from beginning to pack.  I'm buttoning up the last few items in Oklahoma this week and then will officially move into the transition process on Monday.  I won’t have everything wrapped up in Oklahoma until likely September, but that will just be one item.  At 10:30 pm tonight, I am exactly 270 hours away (11 ¼ days)!!

Changing it up.  It'll come back at some point.  I go through cycles.

Probably before.  Sorry, I consider anything after 3:00 to be evening, in the winter generally after 2:00.

12:30 PM, as in 30 minutes after Noon, I consider to be afternoon.  The night ends at 23:59:59.  Anything from 00:00:00 through 11:59:59 am is morning.  So, if you mean 12:30 as in 30 minutes after midnight, I do consider that morning.

Basically here is a break down of what times I use with their designation.  It does change with the sunset.  See below for which months I use each designation.

00:00:00-03:59:59   -    Early Morning
04:00:00-07:59:59   -    Mid Morning
08:00:00-11:59:59   -    Late Morning
12:00:00-12:59:59   -    Early Afternoon (May-August)
13:00:00-13:59:59   -    Mid Afternoon (May-August
14:00:00-14:59:59   -    Late Afternoon (May-August)
15:00:00-16:59:59   -    Early Evening (May-August)
17:00:00-18:59:59   -    Mid Evening (May-August)
19:00:00-20:59:59   -    Late Evening (May-August)
21:00:00-23:59:59   -    Night (May-August)

12:00:00-13:14:59   -    Early Afternoon (September, October, March, April)
13:15:00-14:29:59   -    Late Afternoon (September, October, March, April)
14:30:00-16:29:59   -    Early Evening (September, October, March, April)
16:30:00-18:29:59   -    Mid Evening (September, October, March, April)
18:30:00-20:29:59   -    Late Evening (September, October, March, April)
20:30:00-23:59:59   -    Night (September, October, March, April)

12:00:00-12:59:59   -    Early Afternoon (November-February)
13:00:00-13:59:59   -    Late Afternoon (November-February)
14:00:00-15:59:59   -    Early Evening (November-February)
16:00:00-17:59:59   -    Mid Evening (November-February)
18:00:00-19:59:59   -    Late Evening (November-February)

I use evening for anything after the end of the work day until one turns toward home/bed, when it becomes night. I guess that means you can't "dance the night away" or have "a big night out" though, unless you're foxtrotting up the footpath home. I guess I might use night for post-midnight but before bed, and then morning from when you get up until noon. Midnight is midnight tonight in my mind.

I go based on when the day officially begins (which is 00:00:00).

What in the hell kind of company makes you wait over six months for benefits!?

It must have been what, two years now since he's had sex? I'd get engaged as soon as I could if I were in his shoes, I wouldn't be able to help it.

Yeah, that's pretty weird. When I got this job, I got my benefits the first day, and was able to go to the doctor the same day.

Bushie, maybe I'm just getting oldtimers here but what, exactly, is your new position and don't say "supervisor".......I mean what are you supervising and for who, exactly.

He is listed as Supervisor for some type of scam so when the scam gets busted, he is the one that goes to jail....

Well you know what they say, as this associate attorney I used to work with way back when put it, who admittedly had a twisted and bigoted mind: "[T]he Jews commit the major fraud, and the Baptists commit the petty fraud."  Now again, before you all get upset, I am merely repeating what he said. But well, maybe it kind of fits in this one instance. Tongue Maybe. Is this new job in sales, as opposed to taking service calls?

I will spill the beans here.  I will be supervising a group of employees at Xerox Salt Lake City just like my supervisor here in OKC was doing.  I will be coaching the advisors, training them, and such.

My how plans have changed!! My preparation time has been cut significantly! The movers will be here on Monday, August 13, 2012 between 9:00-12:00. Mom and I will be leaving Oklahoma City now on Thursday, August 16, 2012 at 4:30 am instead of Saturday, August 18, 2012. We've got 4 full days to get ready for the movers since Sunday is mostly booked with church, salad luncheon, and moving my big TV to Grandma's. I'll be able to do a little bit Sunday evening, but then the movers will be here between 9-12 Monday. That means 8 days until I leave!!!!
