Could be in 2013 or 2017- the latter of which I doubt I'll live to see....what is your prediction right now?

I predict Vice President John Hickenlooper will take office January 20, 2017 alongside President Hillary Clinton.

Bob McDonnell and Marco Rubio are the two that first come to mind in the GOP category. Maybe even Paul Ryan.

Or if 2008/2012/2016 is a 1980/1984/1988 scenario, maybe Mark Warner or Tim Kaine?

Bob McDonnell is a very good fit for Romney. He has few skeletons in his closet, a beautiful family, has the experience for the job, and is Conservative enough to appeal to the Tea Party, but moderate enough not to turn off voters in swing states. Besides him, there will also be a lot of pressure for Romney to choose a Hispanic or Woman to help boost Republican support with those voting groups.

Rubio is of course the most likely, as he could easily be elected VP in either 2012 or 2016.

Vice President Marco Rubio under President Chris Christie.

I'll bet on it and come back in 5 years.

I wish this would happen! It would destroy the Democratic Party for a decade after Dennis! gets through with them. That man would be incapable for running a popsicle stand much less the federal government.

How about Condi Rice being sworn in as Vice President with President Mitt Romney in January, 2013, defying all odds that a Republican ticket with a moderate VP candidate could not win.

Condi thus becomes the first black and the first woman VP at the same time, while providing President Romney with a VP who has phenomenal foreign policy credentials to compliment his outstanding domestic and economic expertise.

Mitt and Condi make history.

It doesn't matter who will be Dr. Romney running-mate. Dr. Romney carries a day all by himself.

True, but Condi would certainly help make things interesting.
