No. No. No.

They have already made up by the way, and I am very confident Huckabee will endorse Mittens in due course, when it seems to have the most impact.

I think Torie sells Huckabee short: he's a very effective born politician and would be a boon to the bottom of Romney's ticket.  I think Romney should probably go for a Rubio or a Christie, but Huckabee is not a bad choice at all.

Huck is a protectionist - a deal killer. He also took an unseemly amount of gifts as governor, totally in the hundreds of thousands. Born poor, he is transfixed by the gleaming gold - which he is now actively pursuing. Anyway, he is not preparing to be VP clearly.  I don't think he is not in the hunt.

Nice double negative. Tongue

Romney up ticket and Huck as VP would have been a wonderfull ticket in 2008. Not sure about now. As for the protectionism, Huck won't be making decisions on trade and we are either heading for free trade Romney style or Huck protectionism anyway. The numbers are just too overwhelming. The old days of free trade with no teeth or enforcement are by necessity coming to an end. There is a smart way or a stupid way that it will end. I would rather have the smart way co-opt the stupid way rhetorically and thus render it irrelevant.

Huckabee kind of endorsed Mitt (and a bit of election fraud), saying Tea Party conservatives should get behind Mitt (if he is nominee):

It is a joke similar to "voting early and often" which had it's origins in the days of machine politics from voter fraud, but now just refers to turnout intensity.

One of the most unelectable tickets I can think of. It's like a candle with wicks on both ends and no wax in the middle.
