LOL.  The reason is that Hugh announced that he was picking you as VP.  I has ASSUMED that he has asked you before he did that, I guess that was not the case.

To clarify:

Hugh and I had discussed the idea of running together; I had preliminarily accepted the idea but had stated that I was not decided because I was waiting for an announcement from Nym as to his intentions. This was also entirely discussed before Kemp's announcement, and that certainly changes the political scenery somewhat.

I consider that the matter remains open and not decided.
