I'm sure glad I'm not the RG... "Public post", huh? What a garabe bill. Poor Homely will have to read every single post to keep up, I guess. Not to mention keeping track of deregistered voters. I love how some people always want to make the "work" positions (like RG and AG) harder and harder, to the point where it's hard to find anyone to do them.

I'm waiting to hear back from Homelycooking before I take action on this bill.

I have no objection to carrying out the administration of some form of deregistration provision, though I would rather not have to administer it, but I would urge Snowguy to veto this bill because I cannot read all "public posts". Business relating to the Census Bureau should be transacted either in the New Register Thread or the Census Bureau thread, and I should not have to recognize anything that is posted outside of those threads.

Perhaps, if the President would be willing, he could veto this and present an amended version requiring that public post be made in the Census Bureau? Would that be acceptable?

This bill will lead to complications and is unnecessary. If one wants deregistered, they should stop voting.

Veto
I think the concerns outlined above are proof enough that this bill was poorly written and conceived.
