Stade Français (Rugby Club) is noted for their rather unusual uniforms.  I remember someone linking to their web site, and seeing "New Jersey" in big letters, I kept trying to figure out what the connection was between Paris and Hoboken.

Most of Wallace's votes in reality probably would have gone to the Democrats.  At the start of the '68 campaign, Nixon was at 42%, Humphrey at 29%, and Wallace at 22%.  On Election Day, Nixon won 43.4% of the popular vote, Wallace dropped down to 13.5%, and Humphrey got 42.7%.  This suggests that the early Wallace supporters who changed their support went overwhelmingly for Humphrey.  This becomes even more apparent when it is seen that, in three of the five Wallace states (all in the South), Humphrey actually beat Nixon for second. Since Wallace was a Democrat and never became a Republican, I would contend that he split the Democratic vote, especially in the South, which all but ensured Nixon's election.
