My parents and I see a Blue Fish game every summer.  Other than that, I never really cared about sports.

Attack me for it if you may.

Detroit e'er'thing, plus, for some reason, when I was much younger, I gained an attachment to the Philadelphia Eagles. With the Lions sucking as they usually did, I started rooting for them if I happened to see them in a game. Over time, any enthusiasm for them has completely faded away due to lack of exposure, but if I see them on, I'll probably root for them. Also, I root for the Wolverines and will occasionally root for the Packers, though no in Thursday's game of course.

My friend's roommate is a fan of those teams (but USC instead of Florida).

Washington Capitals, DC United, Arsenal F.C., Germany, Georgetown Basketball

Don't care about baseball or American football or the NBA. AC Sparta Prague and Borussia Dortmund are clubs that I'm a fan but not necessarily a supporter of. Also I root for Hull City and Wolverhampton, for obvious reasons.

Of course the best sports team ever is Guangzhou Evergrande F.C., current champions of the Chinese Super League.

Sunderland AFC, Glamorgan CCC, Durham CCC, the Welsh national Rugby team.

And lots of other teams, clubs and Lord knows else what, that I like to see well and which I try to follow when I've the time. But not obsessively. For details of this regarding football, see this post.

Clearly it's the Xinjiang Flying Tigers. The idea of Kenyon Martin playing in Ürümqi is too hilarious for it to be otherwise.

EDIT: Wikipedia tells me that Patty Mills also plays for Xinjiang. I remember when he used to play for St. Mary's. Awesome.

Oh man, I love those maps...

NFL - Philadelphia Eagles, Denver Broncos
MLB - Baltimore Orioles, Philadelphia Phillies
NHL - Philadelphia Flyers, New Jersey Devils (I know...)
NBA - San Antonio Spurs, Miami Heat

I have other teams that I'll root for, just not actively as a full-on fan. Mostly NFL teams like the Ravens, Chargers, and Saints. I also like the Jets, Dolphins, 49ers, and Falcons haha

Also interesting on that site is the contributions of fans. There is quite a substantial sample and apparently the list goes like this as far as most popular divisions in the NFL:

1. NFC East
2. NFC North
3. AFC East
4. AFC North
5. NFC West
6. AFC West
7. NFC South
8. AFC South

The NFC East is by far the most popular, with the Cowboys in 2nd, Redskins in 6th, Eagles in 7th, and Giants in 8th. The latter three are extremely close in numbers while being far from their neighbors, which is interesting. The NFC North is also pretty far ahead of the rest with the last place Vikings only being in 12th. The Cardinals and Jaguars have embarrassingly low numbers. The Patriots have almost exactly 10 times the amount of fans as the Jaguars. Same can be said of the Packers with regards to the Cardinals. Oh yeah, and the NFC has 30% more fans than the AFC. Fun stuff for NFL/numbers nerds like me...especially when you're an NFC East fan like me Tongue

EDIT: Also interesting is the MASSIVE geographic reach of the Atlanta Braves.

Cleveland Browns and Indians for sure, the Cavs if I decide to watch the NBA, which is a rare occurrance. I was raised a Notre Dame fan and I typically root for whoever is playing Ohio State but that bit has lessened over the years and I rarely watch college football anymore.

Mostly the first two. I watch almost every Browns game and am a pretty serious NFL fan. I generally like the Bills, Jets, Colts, Jaguars, Chargers, Eagles, Saints, Bucs, Packers, Lions, and Cardinals and generally dislike the Steelers, Ravens, Patriots, Raiders, and Cowboys.

There is some weirdness in those maps. I never knew Packers support spilled over into SE Minnesota, that would no doubt make many here declare that area "fake Minnesota". Weird how the Twins vs. Brewers pattern doesn't follow. And the area around Reno sort of adopting the Bay Area feels a little weird too even if that's the closest area in distance.

But for me all the Minnesota teams simply.

The Red Sox predominate in nearly all of Connecticut and also Upstate NY?  That can't be true.

(I guess one of those things where intensity of support skews online polls).
