Been a longtime lurker, but I really want to start a time line. I have two ideas:

1. Glass-Steagall is never repealed.  A more moderate, prosperous America TL that I'll probably conclude in a grand finale with with 2012 election, allthough it will include a few great twists. Wink

2. Reagan beats Ford in the primaries. The butterflies fan out for decades afterward (would probably conclude in the 2000s).

Big fan of Miles' 2011 and On TL and the guy that did the 1988 (Reagan v Clinton) timeline. Hope to follow in the traditions with lots and lots of maps.

Any ideas and tips would be greatly appreciated. Smiley

Option 1, as Reagan in 1976 has been covered a few times. Both are great, I look forward to these timelines Smiley

Thanks for the support guys. Smiley I'll start a timeline in a few days starting just before the 1998 midterms and go on from there!

We can't wait. Can you please start the thread soon? How would this affect the 2000 Election? Does Gore win? What about McCain being the Republican nominee and winning?
