Long story short, the mayor of a very conservative "hunting and fishing" type suburb of Memphis (and was nearly elected rep for MS-1 in 2008) got caught spending a huge sum of money on the public dime. Now it turns out one of the places he spent public money was at a gay adult shop in Toronto.

You may as well when you hold the town's credit card, right. And it was an "adult" store. Didn't have to be porn. He could have been buying um....... novelty items. I feel awful for dude's family. It's one of these gossipy churchy Cracker Barrel and Wal-Mart suburbs where people know each other. There's also super smug about not living in "corrupt" Memphis. I guess his now ex-wife could move out of town, but if not, the kids have to grow up in the aftermath of all this. What a nightmare!

Neither is Greg Davis. He was born here (there were no hospitals in DeSoto 40 years ago), but he grew up in MS.
