Once Bachmann and Perry drop out after losses in early states, their supporters are going over to Gingrich. Fair or not, this race is going to be between Moderates backing Romney and conservatives backing Gingrich very quickly. I think it's pretty clear which wing rules the GOP.

Looks like it's over then. At least we stopped Romney from sweeping all 50 states.
No. This race has been insanely volatile. The GOP doesn't know what the hell it wants. Nobody knows what will happen next.

The race is over. Gingrich has all but dropped out and endorsed Romney - he's only in to help influence the party platform.

Today's Numbers:
Romney: 44% (+2)
Santorum: 25% (nc)
Paul: 13% (+2)
Gingrich: 10% (+1)

92% of Republicans have made up their mind. That may be the highest number yet.
So nearly everybody has made up his mind, but Romney is still only at 44% With all the delegate math as it is. What does that tell you?
