If Huckabee were in the race right now, how would the numbers look?

He'd be running away with it.

Same for Christie, Ryan, or Daniels, most likely.

He has a way of appealing to both the teabaggers and establishment-type members of his party, so he'd most likely win the whole thing.

Huck's a contender, but he won't win the nomination because of his fiscal record and his very own Willie Horton problem. No one wants a SoCon in an economic year.

I really think that if Huckabee were in the race he'd win the GOP nod

Fiscal conservatives aren't voting for Huck. Did I mention he has ethical baggage and 2 Willie Hortons in his record as well?

I don't know about the ethics, but his "Willie Horton" came out after the 2008 election.

He would win some Tea Party support, but his disparagement of the Club for Growth calling them the "Club for Greed" might haunt him.

It's his actual fiscal record rather than that throwaway quote which would turn fiscal conservatives off.

He'd get points from the Tea Party for his FairTax support.  Yeah, he's a socon, but he has a 'Herman Cain-style' to him, too.  I don't think he'd win in the general election, but he would likely win the primary, even with baggage that, as Newt is showing us, isn't very important to primary voters.
