Huckabee joins in May, Ryan in June. How does the field shake out?

Alternatively, have one or the other join.

Either one runs roughshod over the field.

Huckabee likely loses in November, Ryan likely wins.

Perry would never have run. Bachmann would have faded away. Romney would probably have hung on through NH, but would have been overtaken by Ryan who would win the nomination and then tap Huckabee as his VP. Ryan/Huckabee defeats Obama/Biden.
