Yes.

If you want to know who is going to get the nomination, just pick the worst candidate from each party. That's always the way it is. We are going to end up with two crappy candidates again.

No, neither

Hillary has too much baggage, and Frist is boring and unispiring as sh**t.

I say it's waaaaaaaay too early. At this point in 2000 who was talking about John Kerry or Howard Dean?

Kerry was mentioned. Dean wasn't, or I didn't hear him mentioned anyway.

Look for a Governor or ex-Governor.

Thompson possibly.

Jeb Bush, if he'd do it.

People were sure that Dean was the nominee less than a year ago.

No to both. But from these options I voted no to Frist.

I hope not. If these two are the nominees I'm voting 3rd party again. <Surprise

Well, if a candidate who was, in my opinion, not the best the Dem's have to offer can almost win the election, then in 4 years, if we put forward a really good candidate, then we've got the election.  Besides, by then, most Americans will have realized how stupid they were this past election, and maybe the US can start doing some good in the world. Hillary has a lot of connections, is popular with the ultra-liberals like moveon.org, and has Bill.

I heard speculation that Rove might work for Frist. If that's true, he's virtually a shoe-in, and if not, he still has all the accolades that being the Senate majority leader will get you.

I think Hillary is the favorite for her party's nomination, and will turn out to be a stronger candidate than many on this forum believe.  It's still wide open on the other side, though.

Frist is pretty likely but not if McCain does run (which I believe he is trying to do).

Hillary is a long shot and is only a real contender if Bill dies.

The nominations for both party will really be based on how Iowa, NH, and SC primaries will be situated.

I predict the Republicans will put the emphasis off NH, and try to get away with putting their power into the Iowa and SC events.

I think the Democrats are going to minimize Iowa and switch South Carolina out of its three spot and allow Wisconsin, Nevada, New Mexico or Colorado to be the three spot.
