Hopefully this is the right board.

Rob Woodall (R, GA-7) robocalled me last night to invite me to a "Telephone Town Hall" tonight at 7.  I "RSVPed" so they are supposed to call me.  I plan asking him about his position on the Payroll tax cut, though I am thinking instead about bringing up the Defense Authorization Act (the one with the scary detainment provision).  I'm proud of him; he voted Nay (as did 43 other Republicans).  If you have an opinion, or another question for him, let me know.

Forbes voted against that too, but because of the carrier move to FL and he thought it cut too much defense spending for the area.

Cheesy

I like Woodall, for the most part. He's my Congressman too, of course (until next year, when I'm redistricted into Broun's seat Sad ) Good questions; the only other thing I could think of would be to ask for his opinion of SOPA.

What the hell?  He never called me back.

EDIT: BK, did you get an invite?

DOUBLE EDIT: I found a way in.  Listening now.

Looks like I caught it at the very tail end.  I couldn't tell if I was listening to him talk or a pre-recorded message.  I had to go here to find the phone number, so I assume if he holds another one of these it will be at the same number.

Checking my messages, a robocall was sent at 7:28 (10 minutes ago) saying "sorry we forgot to call you."  :/

So I got back from some B-Ball to hear the phone ringing and guess what?  There's another town hall.  And I made it to this one.  He alternates between answering questions from the audience and asking poll questions, which you answer by pressing numbers on the key pad.

Some choice bits from the conversation:
-Right to Life and Preventing marriage are key
-He wants to repeal the 16th and 17th amendments
-We need to continue foreign aid to Israel because of a quote from Genesis (God warning Abraham about something)
-President Obama wants to take guns out of our hands (first step to a totalitarian state)

Wait, massive wtf moment.  As I'm typing this, I hit 1 to submit a question.  And some campaign staffer asked me for my question, and apparently this Paul Broun's townhall.  I didn't  know I had been redistricted into his district.  Huh

But  yeah, I'm going to (hopefully) ask about ACTA.

He's hittin' on you, man.  Don't accept unless you're prepared to go all the way.
