I say Florida 2000, with close nods to 1876 and Ukraine I.

It was closer than Ohio. So was Iowa, by the way. New Mexico and New Hampshire were also fairly close.

I'd say it's about as likely Wisconsin was stolen as Ohio.

I'd like to write in the Texas election where LBJ got elected to the Senate by 87 votes. That was one of the crookedest ever

Wisconsin Republican GOTV fans had their tires slashed, that GOTV drive being put on hold could have lost Wisconsin for Bush

Louisiana 1876. The Republican election board threw out thousands of Democratic ballots on a technicality, giving Hayes the state and the presidency.

I accidentally voted for Washington Gubernatorial race 2004, not seeing the Ukrainian election option.

How exactly can an election be "more stolen" than another? Wink

According to the White House's web site(which mind you seems to be, in my opinion, biased towards all the Presidents)

"In the Presidential election, Harrison received 100,000 fewer popular votes than Cleveland, but carried the Electoral College 233 to 168. Although Harrison had made no political bargains, his supporters had given innumerable pledges upon his behalf"

http://www.whitehouse.gov/history/presidents/bh23.html

From:  http://www.u-s-history.com/pages/h755.html

"The campaign in 1888 set a new standard for corruption. Senator Matthew Quay of Pennsylvania used large sums of money to buy votes, which may have provided the margin for the Harrison victory. Cleveland won a majority of the popular votes, but failed to carry either Pennsylvania or his home state of New York."

Basically I thought I had heard somewhere down the line that some of Harrison's electoral votes were bought off. This could be the New York thing I'm not sure.

I'm curious as to why you removed "especially the south" from this.  Did you suddenly remember that something was happening there at the time that precluded them from voting in the American election? Wink

Ukraine I, with Washington Governor 2004 being a close runner-up.

Is there any actual evidence of fraud in Washington?

Also, why would the Republican Secretary of State be complicit in the scandal?

Yes, I was thinking 1868 on that part. But still, I meant 1864.
