Psychic:
A major disaster of some sort, taking place at some point between January and December, in either North America, Europe, South America, Africa, Asia, or Oceania. Also, a number of "well known" (wink wink) people will die.
Non-Psychic:
Something "brand new" from Apple, leaving people wondering if Jobs was really all that important.
A new big "thing" - IE Youtube, Facebook, twitter, etc, I'm thinking that something new will come up throughout the year.
The world will not end.
The US election will be a run-away similar to 08 (where there was only a very short period where the losing candidate was ahead in the polls), but I don't know who will be that loser.
The number of long-term memes (like rage faces, lol cats, etc) will decrease, while the number of short-term memes (like friday) will increase
Populism will become more and more popular worldwide, but nothing will "explode".
