I just saw part of a television commercial on cable tv which I at first thought was a trailer for a movie.

It was longer than a standard commercial (at least two minutes, and was very intriguing(.  At the end, it turned out to be a commercial for Ford.

I call it the 'returning marine gets Mustang from father' commercial.

If you see it, please post your comments on this thread.

I personally think from what I saw it was one of the finest television commercials I have ever seen in my life.

IMHO, its one of those rare commercials that once you see it you will probably NEVER forget it and you will remember the sponsor in a VERY favorable perspective.

This is wonderful to do and whatnot, but somehow it feels wrong to turn it into a commercial. I prefer random acts of kindness - it means more to me if a company quietly donated this only to later be covered on the news than donating the car and earning many times that sum from making an ad about it.

I also hate emotional manipulation by ads.

Have you seen the ad?
