Just finished my labor of love, the 1968 scenario for President Forever 2008.  It is complete and fully playable.

PM me with your email address and I'll send you a copy for now, or download it here: http://www.gamefront.com/files/23070808/United+States+-+1968.zip
Mirror: http://www.mediafire.com/download.php?pjhiazuqrj9pjk8

Changelog:

1.2

All candidates should have correct funding level.  Peace And Freedom Party added, with Eldridge Cleaver, Gore Vidal, and Carl Oglesby as possible candidates.  Unnecessary images removed to reduce file size.

1.1

Thanks to NVGonzalez for making this one!

Should no longer crash.
Primary dates, percentages, and types (sorta, it is pre-reform) fixed.
Inflation taken into account (he forgot to change the starting cash of a few candidates, but I fixed that).
EV counts and populations now accurate (this should've been in my version, but for some reason it reverted back to an earlier version somewhere).
Events fixed (I knew nothing about event scripting, so this should be much better).
Party colors now no longer Atlas convention. ( Sad )

1.0.3

Fixed error with missing Connally.

1.0.2

American Independent convention will now have delegates.

1.0.1

Changed dates of primaries to make playable...

1.0

Only candidates appearing in the scenario now have images.
Issue images have been corrected.

It looks good, but alas I'm getting a "floating point error", playing as McCarthy in the primaries. Sad

I think I know why. Go to the Parties and then go to American Independent. Then you go and give Regions 1 delegate to work.

You think?  I just based it off the 1984 scenario on the theoryspark site, Wallace is the same as Anderson with the names and percentages changed.

Whatever the case, Wallace now given delegates.

I guess I just overestimated the overall completeness of this thing...

Alright, I've done playthrus as Humphrey and Wallace without incident.  Is there some specific candidate, action, or date that is triggering an error?  (Also, have you downloaded the latest version I've linked to?)

I fixed the scenario and you won't have to tweak anything else. I can send it to you Smiley

Alright, please do.  Thanks!

Is the fixed version in the OP?

And thanks for making this, Wormy!

Well, the one that works for me is in the OP, though some are claiming it isn't working for them.  NVGonzalez claims to have fixed the problems, although he hasn't sent me the fixed version yet.

Edit: I'm trying out his version right now.

Alright, his version looks good; made a few additional tweaks, and should work well.

Strange, I don't seem to be able to download it...

It's because you're in Chile.  Here's an alternate link.  http://www.mediafire.com/download.php?pjhiazuqrj9pjk8

Bump.  I'm a little bummed out this hasn't been more popular; I've put a lot of work into this and it's fairly polished (I'd even daresay more so than some of the scenarios that come with P4E).
