Given  the counties that have yet to report, I think Santorum might win this one. Wow.

Well, I certainly hope that a win doesn't give him momentum to win the nomination as a whole.  He would be a horrible GE candidate...

Santorum now leading, by less than 100 votes.  Paul is off by about 1,000.

"Huntsman we found your one Iowa voter, he's in Linn precinct 5 you might want to call him and say thanks." - Ron Paul camp

that was not Paul's actual Twitter account

FWIW, of the 49 Polk County precincts reporting, Ron Paul won 30, Santorum and Romney 8 each and Perry 3 very small ones.  But 6 of Romney's wins were in precincts with over 100 votes, compared to 2 each for Santorum and Paul.

Haha, I found something interesting on Entrance Polls - Romney has a nice lead on those making over 100k, but also has a moderate lead on those with no college education. Hmm...

46% in. Santorum 24. Romney 24. Paul 22. First time in a while it's been more than a 1% lead.

Paul's lead is down to 2% in Polk County; Santorum is in second there now.

Linn and Dallas Counties together gave Mitt an edge of about a 1000 votes over Santorum and Paul. And they're almost tapped....

If he doesn't start pulling some numbers out of Polk and the other partially returned suburb counties where he's currently losing, and/or make a darn good showing in Woodbury, it's going to be tight at best....

Who is "other" in Emmet County, Iowa, that is getting 37%? 15% is going to "No preference"

It's Vote Count-Other in the GOP spreadsheet.   That's other than Paul, Bachmann, Johnson, Gingrich, Santorum, Huntsman, Roemer, Romney, Perry or Cain, who are explicitly listed.  The Johnson column is completely blank instead of all zeros, like Cain and Huntsman.  Something might have gotten transposed (though it's the same way in the Polk results, so probably not).
