Has anyone written 'congratulations Phil' yet? It would be appropriate, even if Santorum doesn't quite make it.

Bachmann doesn't sound like she's dropping out tonight.

Her "prepared comments" were very obviously written for what she assumed would be a 1st place finish in Iowa.

I always found it passing odd that Bachmann thinks she has "accomplished" so much in public service, and influencing policy, when she has basically accomplished absolutely nothing. She leads this and that, so she claims, but whatever she is leading, seems to be ignored. Why is that Michelle?

Story is looking good for Romney, and Dubuque still isn't in yet. This is possible.

Bachmann's really good at going after Obama. She's not playing the bitter, whiny card and attacking Mitt Romney like another person who's been in the House before.

Perhaps it would be appropriate to re-title the 2012 Election forum renamed as such.

Romney is down by 65 votes; there are about 60 precincts out from currently Romney counties.

Looks like most of the remaining precincts are in Romney counties, so I'm going to bed assuming he pulls ahead at the last minute.

I have to say well done to all of Santorum's surrogates, he's doing far worse in the entrance poll than the real thing. Unless there's some conspiracy either they overpolled Paul supporters or his support wasn't as dedicated as it was 4 years ago.
