I've got my TV tuned to CNN and will stay there hopefully until the wee hours of the morning.  I will probably take a break at 11:00 CT to read my Bible for 30 minutes, but then I'll get right back to it before midnight and probably go to bed early Wednesday morning.

Here is what looks like a good link for the map of Iowa's 99 counties and the tally for the Republican Caucuses tonight:

Ah, good to see that CNNI is already showing something ... (but not the US one)

The US feed should begin at 7:00 pm ET (2 minutes from now)

So, there are 25 delegates tied to tonight and 3 unpledged delegates for a total of 28.  What do you think the breakup of those 25 will be?

Probably pretty even for almost all the candidates since the polling is fluid and delegates are allocated by PR. BTW BushOklahoma, when did you become a Romney supporter?

In the fall, I've begun to privately take a look at the Republican field and take a look at what we have currently in the White House.  It really didn't come around until mid to late December that I started realizing that Mitt Romney is the candidate with the cleanest closet and has the fewest crazy positions.

So far, there are more men than women at the caucuses and the biggest age group is 45-64 years of age (37%) compared with 32% 65 and up.

Santorum seems to have jumped in the lead 26% to Paul 23%, Romney 18%

That makes more sense, since she at least campaigned in Iowa.

... and now Romney in the lead Sad

All within 100 votes of each other.

It's not as if he would seal the deal tonight if he won. There's still plenty of fun before the primaries are over.

Roland Martin said it right (although he misquoted).  The Republican nominee needs 1,144 delegates to face President Obama (he said 2,286). No one is going to reach that tonight.

How are the Democratic caucus's going?

Some guy named Obama swept it and will get all the delegates.

All right guys, I'm going to bed now. It's a pity to leave right when Romney has taken the lead, but hopefully that means I'll have a good surprise tomorrow. Tongue

See you. Smiley

So are the caucuses over and they're waiting on results or are areas still caucusing?

It sounds like they are done caucusing and now tabulating and reporting to Des Moines.

I'm guessing around 12:00 am Eastern, 11:00 pm Central.  We're starting to pick up the pace a bit, we're approaching two-thirds.

I'm anxious to see what the western tier counties along the Nebraska border will look like (Sioux City and points north and south).  Those 4 counties that are not reporting, yet, were solidly Romney 4 years ago.  Also, looks like Santorum's strength is in the rural farmland north and west of Des Moines and east of the aforementioned western tier.

Do you think Ron Paul is disappointed with his likely 3rd place finish?

Just caught that!

If you have heart problems, I suggest you step away from the TV or computer right now. This is going to be a crazy new 30 minutes or so.

There's one thing for sure, nobody will get a decisive victory out of Iowa.
