I know it's more interesting to focus on the close result between Romney and Santorum, but, shockingly, President Obama has apparently won the Democratic Iowa caucus with over 98% of the vote, staving off a strong challenge from Randall Terry.

Amazing stuff.

98%... isn't that a higher percent than Clinton got in 1996?

Map of "Other" (Non-Obama) vote in 1% increments.

Jefferson County (Ron Paul lovers/MUM Pradesh) had the largest Other vote. Johnson County was second. Only two counties where Obama was held under 90%.

Nice map - is the Atlas going to record the Democratic primaries as well?

I think there are about 3% of the results uncounted, including a chunk from Jefferson county.  Also, because of the rules and widespread manipulation of the agendas, it's actually kind of amazing any votes were counted against Obama.  These events were setup as pep rallies and only really considered uncommitted if someone spoke up and that person could draw in at least 15% of the people in the room.  No telling how many thousands of people wanted to cast a protest vote but were too timid to speak up or were outnumbered by too wide of a margin for the protest to be recorded.

New Hampshire is going to be interesting.  How many thousand write-in votes for Hillary?  How many protest votes for the candidates like Randall Terry and Darcy Richardson who actually appear on the ballot?

I bet when it's all said and done a million Democrats cast protest votes in all the various primaries and caucuses.  That's worse than Clinton in 1996.

There were two counties where Obama was under 90%? LOL!

Is there anybody else on NH Primary ballot with him?

Obama has 13 opponents in NH:

Maybe they'll get 10-15% combined. Bill Clinton's opponents in 1996 got about 16% combined.

Ironically (or not actually), Johnson County was Obama's strongest county in the 2008 general election and the 2008 primary.

There had been no results reported from that county as of that time. County ended up going 100% Obama like most counties did.

Looking at the precinct results, Other did best in Fairfield, Iowa, where it actually tied Obama 3-3 in one precinct, and in Iowa City where it won beat Obama 3-2 in one precinct and tied in another.

Is Lyndon LaRouche still alive? He should have run like he did against Clinton, that would have been funny.

Technically, this is actually something of a strong showing for "other," considering the 15% rule.
