Bad for Santorum----Rick Scott is popular with the base, but undecided/independent voters dont seem to like him. He will never endorse Santorum anyway. He's a lock for Romney.

Florida primary is closed IIRC and Scott must still(?) be somewhat popular with conservatives.

Its closed? I did not know that, I assumed it was open. Your right in that case, it would help Santorum.

Yeah- I'd suspect Scott would go for the guy with all the money.

One of the least popular governors in the country right now.

However the conservatives who approve of Scott may be the same conservatives who would vote for someone like Santorum

Rick Scott sucks, as of a December PPP poll only 46% of Republicans approve while 31% disapprove.
A Scott endorsement would most definitely hurt.

No he's not. Scott wasn't even endorsed by Romney in the gubernatorial primary. Scott will probably go with whoever is polling closest to Romney by that time.

Scott's first priority is himself (and don't get me wrong, I like him), so I can’t see him endorsing Romney before anyone.
