Huntsman seems to be slipping back into single digits.

That's what happens when you skip Iowa. No candidate can withstand being ignored by the national media for so long.

I think that Santorum will beat (low) expectations in New Hampshire. That will be more valuable than a few extra days of campaigning in South Carolina. Besides, he'll have nearly two weeks for that.

Santorum just needs to beat Gingrich in NH, so that he can solidify his status as primary conservative challenger to Romney.  Even if he's in 4th place (behind both Paul and Huntsman), it's OK for him, as long as he's ahead of both Gingrich and Perry.

I'd be surprised if no one else gets double digits.

I guess the battle will be for second not third. Huntsman will definitely drop out if he doesn't at least take the bronze, I think... and even if he does there probably isn't much point in continuing.

HUNTSMENTUM

On the plus side of the lone Huntsman supporter on the internet, UoNH isn't well known for quality polls IIRC and thus is probably off by a wide margin, and the media is guaranteed to be trying to generate a "HUNTSMAN SURGING!" narrative like they did with Santorum since Romney is already effectively guaranteed the nomination, Santorum's views are utterly at odds with the New Hampshire GOP, and Paul is Public Enemy no.1
