Can we make this thread effective for both debates to reduce clutter on the board?

Nope.

1. The morning debate thread won't be stickied until after this one is unstickied, so there wouldn't be any clutter from too many threads at the top of the page.
2. One more thread on a board that already has over 5000 threads won't really cause much clutter at all.
3. Having two different debates in one thread would cause plenty of annoying clutter, especially for people talking about the debates after they've ended.

I thought about that after I posted it.  Good call, Bacon!

I'll probably be following the debate on livestream.  I have it on DVR and plan to have the Lions/Saints game on my TV at the time.

9pm Saturday debate in NH?  All Romney has to do to win it is to get everybody to fall asleep before they have a chance to contemplate the others.

With a 9am debate tomorrow morning, the candidates might as well get a cot behind the stage and camp out.

I'll try this prediction: Romney will be the guy on stage who attacks Santorum the least.

I'll agree with this prediction as Romney will spend most of his time attacking Obama when he's not defending the jabs from the Fig Newton.

With a 9am debate tomorrow morning

Somebody tell me why we're having two debates back to back instead of just one? And why on earth would the second one be in the morning?

It's silly to have a debate when a good chunk of folks are at church. Especially the kind most likely to vote any of this group of candidates.

My prediction: Far, far more voters, even in New Hampshire and South Carolina, will be watching the Saints/Lions NFL playoff game.

- Romney will brush off any attacks and focus primarily on looking presidential and attacking Obama
- Gingrich will be a cry baby who throws pathetic nonsense at Romney
- Perry will go after Santorum
- Santorum will probably go after Romney but get dragged down in a mudslinging contest at least once with Perry
- Paul will say at least one crazy thing
- Huntsman will pander to New Hampshire voters to a sickening extent

Obama => "The rooster taking credit for the sun-rise."

Classic Mitt metaphor.

Santorum is getting nailed on that - not a good statement to make, and Mitt is making him pay.

Will be one of the few good moments tonight for Mitt.
