This line of attack regarding jobs is disingenuous.  How many permanent jobs would this create?  If we're set on this type of thing, why haven't we seen an agreement regarding infrastructure upgrades yet?  The American Jobs Act was full of that stuff and the GOP wouldn't hear any of it.

According to independent economic studies, the US jobs associated with this project are a rounding error.  Obama needs to give the greens something to turn out for after he completely dropped the ball on cap and trade.  If there's any political subtext here, it's a play to blunt Romney's moderate appeal in the CO/VA/NC inner suburbs...
