All of his many flip-flops (up to 2008), condensed into one nice document. Thank you Senator McCain Smiley

Did this appear online right after Romney ripped McCain-Feingold in the debate last night?

None of that matters any more.  It's all in the past.

The only thing that matters now in the Romney/McCain relationship is the fact that McCain has wholeheartedly endorsed Romney for President.

Both Romney and McCain are looking toward the future, not the past.

Hey, if you want to live in the past as in four years ago feel free to do so.  I'll stay in 2012 and be looking to the future thank you.

It says he supported a path to citizenship for illegals as late as 2006, but I remember him being a complete reactionary on the issue as early as 2005.

Best gems I found so far:

-Romney called for New York's pension fund to divest from companies that did business with Iran at a time when Bain Capital owned a company with offices in Tehran (p.77)
-He loved raising fees as Governor, of course, but gave a free pass for rapists; in 2003 he tried to veto a $75 Sex Offender registration fee but was overturned by the legislature. He also attempted several vetoes of funding increases for the sex offender registry even after the state learned it had entirely lost track of a third of MA's "high risk sex offenders" (p.131).

Also apparently there's a video of Romney saying, "You'll have to allow me the opportunity to change my view on that," which is a perfect soundbite for an ad on his flip-flopping.

Haha, they should get Dukakis to star in an ad where he says that even he would better at protecting people against rapists.

[image response deleted due to obscenity]

Also, I love this bit:

FAVORITE MOVIE: Romney Has Changed Positions On His Favorite Film In Recent Years. Romney Once Said “O Brother Where Art Thou” Was His Favorite Movie, Now Says It Is “Raiders Of TheLost Ark.”

“Speaking of Romney, he has been making the rounds on the national TV circuit, providing endlessfodder for critics who paint him as a constant flip-flopper. In yet another example, CNN profiled the 2008presidential field and Romney listed his favorite movie as ‘Raiders of the Lost Ark.’ But as recently as 2003,Romney told media outlets that his favorite was the George Clooney flick ‘O Brother Where Art Thou.’” (DaveWedge, “Your Mitt Moment, Priceless,”
Boston Herald, 3/4/07)

McCain is like the sh**ttiest endorsement for Romney ever.  He gets up on stage next to him and says "with the leadership and the backing of the American people, President Obama will turn this country around."  Then later he indirectly provides Obama with the perfect equipment to help get re-elected.  There was probably a bunch of stuff in there that Obama's own team had missed!

If this is the best that can be scrounged up, Obama is in trouble. They need more than this to make up for the disappointment that is the Obama Administration.

Probably not a coincidence that this is leaked the morning after Romney calls for McCain's signature legislative achievement to be repealed completely.

Maybe McCain wants his 2008 vs Obama numbers to beat Romney's 2012's.  I bet he does.

TBF, making people pay a fee to do something they're legally required to do and doesn't provide them any benefit is one of the dumbest ideas of all time.
