I think it would have been a Bush landslide.

Blow-out for Bush.  Bradley is a compitent articulate fellow, but his health problems would have ended his chances.  Imagine is he had to leave a debate to get Defibrillated?

Bradley wouldn't have had the Clinton problems that Gore had, and Bradley was a cool guy. He'd win by a 5% margin

And what about his health problems?

Bradley would have won solidly...IMHo... he was articulate and bright without being condescending and would have shown Bush up in the debates... he might well have chosen either Edwards or Bayh as running mates and both would have been good choices... he could have as I have said won convincingly... states such as Ohio and Missouri would have been even closer... the dem showing in AZ would have been stronger and in FL Bush might well have won (no Lieberman camping out there for large parts of the election)... but then again look at the polls now with Kerry so maybe Bradley would have had as good a chance as Gore...

I think Bradley would have won too. Gore's campaign was really, really terrible.

One thing's for sure: a Bradley ticket would have spared us the sight of Al and Tipper's utterly bizarre kiss at the DNC. Truly one of the most cringeworthy moments in the history of American politics.

Bradley was a well known character with a lot of personality. Bradley was fresh, connected to no scandals, and would have been capable of keeping a portion of the base from voting for Nader...which the populist leaning Gore failed to do. I would give Bradley Florida and New Hampshire, as well as a 51-48 win in the popular vote.

The only problem? He chose to run the same year as an 8-year incumbent vice-president...should have waited until 2004, he could have won that primary.

Um, is that a joke?  Bradley was the one man in America who was more dead than Gore in 2000.

Bradley was a sports star (don't compare him to Jack Kemp, that would just be silly) and an elogant speaker. Gore was just a stuffy populicrat with ZERO personality. He had no flare, and you could tell that he was a tad overconfident with his experience. Bradley was a simple Democrat that vowed not to change much, Gore was complicated and had to many ideas.

You don't really think that California and Washington both would pass on the very liberal Bradley for the 'compassionate conservative' do you?

Dude, did you watch the 2000 Dem debates at all are you just making sh**t up?  (And no comment on the last handful of sentences, you're just influenced by your hatred of Gore and therefore can't think straight on the matter)

I watched and like Bradley better. I will not comment on your last sentence because you have clearly been intoxicated by the taste that Gore's ass has left on your mouth and thus can not hold it against you.

Bradley - 271
Bush     - 267

Bradley wins New Hampshire, which is enough to give him the Presidency.
