As an overweight 69 year old, I take offense at you bringing this up. I have defended you in the past Politico but you push things too far and you are very inappropriate and desparate

In case you are wondering... my doctor recommends any one over the age of 65 to be more towards overweight then underweight to have energy reserves in case of infection. Plus- Newt has admitted he has fine health other then being overweight

1) Gingrich is rather pudgy, but, far from morbidly obese.

2) Gingrich and Romney have sufficient financial resources to receive excellent medical care alleviating much of the concern that both men are well into their sixties.

3) Watching Romney's acceptance speech, I noticed a distinct facial twitch in Romney's face, mostly around his mouth. Seems the stress of losing has rattled him a bit.

I apologize, Clarence. I am not talking about you, though. I am talking about somebody running for president. I question the health of somebody running for president for obvious reasons. Can you imagine how disastrous it would be for the nation if the president's opponent's health failed during the campaign? Or worse, Gingrich becomes president, has a heart attack and is unable to resume his duties. As somebody who lived through the death of JFK, I would imagine you know how traumatic such an occurrence can be for the nation. It is certainly not something he nation needs in these uncertain times for the global economy. We need more certainty, not more uncertainty.
