Newt pretends to be a Goldwaterite. In fact, he was a Rockefeller organizer for Georgia.

Thank God we're back to CNN on Thursday. They at least know how to put on a show.

You do realize the real debates with Obama are going to be just like this, right (i.e., virtually no audience participation)?

Yeah, Newt's answer on that was basically just a list of hilarious lies.

Obama annihilating Mittens will be entertaining enough.

NASA, Schiavo, Cuba, and making English official.....WTF is this?

It's a testament to how worthless anything that's related to Florida is.
Anything north of the southern Indian River County line is worthless.

How true!- after all Florida would still be where it is today without the Orlando attractions and St. Augustine

Mittens is once again bragging about making people take out mortgages, like the weirdo he is.

He should recall the result of nominating Goldwater.

I live in Orlando for two years because I had a great job opportunity, and as soon as I found another job I moved and I promised I would never go back.  It always amazes me why so many people want to live and vacation in such a horrible place. St. Augustine, on the other hand is quite nice.

I'm puzzled about why these NBC analysts are praising Gingrich for "staying above the fray."  When you're getting assailed, responding by saying something like "we'll have a rebuttal on our website tomorrow" is not a good answer.

Yep. Gingrich cannot hide the fact that he's one of only two Republicans, Nixon being the other, to ever resign in disgrace from the position of the party's leader. And $1.6 million to be a historian? No historian gets paid that kind of money unless they're being paid to find the fountain of youth, and I am pretty sure Gingrich has not found that.

Anyone else somewhat creeped out that Mitt thought it was an accomplishment to make Ted Kennedy take a mortgage on his house? What a weird rich guy way of thinking of things.

Newt Gingrich's campaign just sent out an email entitled "Mitt Romney's Top Conservative Achievements." The email is empty.

Newt Gingrich just stated that if he becomes president, he will make sure he resigns in disgrace just like he resigned from the House. He wants to out-Nixon Nixon.

Not always, but the fact remains that Newt Gingrich is one of only two Republicans in history to ever resign in disgrace from their position as the party's leader. Nixon was first, and Gingrich followed in his footsteps.

There is a reason why Obama and his supporters are laughing their heads off right now.

Serious typo there....Anything SOUTH of Indian River is worthless, I love NORTH Florida, not South Florida. It sucks down here in Palm Beach County, I am planning on settling in Vero if I can.

So it sounds like I didn't miss much tonight, huh? Hopefully the Thursday one will be more interesting because I'll probably catch that one.

This quote I read from Howard Kurtz about the debate did make me chuckle though:

Boring debate.  Who's moderating CNN on Thursday? I hope is John King again.
