North Dakota: has a lot of jobs and the potential to be a center for green technology.

South Dakota, particularly Rapid City. The chinook winds there doesn't make it overly cold.

South Dakota, but it'd have to be Sioux Falls.

North Dakota only for the job market in Fargo.

Metro Fargo is actually about the same size as Metro Sioux Falls, it's just that a chunk of the Fargo metro is in Minnesota.

Another gazing-into-the-toilet-bowl question.  I guess whichever one is a closer drive to an international airport.  What's the nearest one there?  Chicago?  Minnyapolis?

Im pretty sure Fargo is an international airport, of course that probably means it takes you as far as Canada.

Fargo has an international airport but no scheduled international flights. The closest real international airport is Winnipeg.

I don't have much of a preference, but probably in South Dakota, most likely in the Black Hills.
