Sad

If Gingrich doesn't tear Romney's head off tonight, we're doomed.

Sad

If Gingrich doesn't tear Romney's head off tonight, we're doomed.

It could also just be the different timing of the ads:

Romney went up with his ad campaign about a week ago.

Gingrich just started a 6 million ad campaign just yesterday.

So these numbers can change again.

I wouldn't say doomed, Gingrich is bound to last at least until Super Tuesday, and he wouldn't win the nomination anyway.

He had to pull one; Rubio complained.

This was what I thought could be happening, however.  Mittmenium by default.  People took a look at both and said, "Romney."

That was a Gingrich ad, not a Super PAC one. It had also already been running for a week.

Hopefully as Newt's ads(the 6 million dollar buy from his Super PAC) get more play the numbers will change, but I think the debate tonight could be crucial.

There's a big difference between a campaign bank-rolled by millionaire-funded Super PACS and one that raises the vast majority of its money from small donors.

Oh, sorry. I forgot the Paultard "Obama is a corporate shill" line is mandatory to convince one's self to vote GOP by default in November. Roll Eyes

Here's a graphic from an article about how Obama is supposedly receiving a surprisingly high amount of its money from "small donations."

Ignoring the DNC (and PACs), Obama is still only receiving 45% of his money from "small donations," not exactly a "vast majority."  Not planning on voting GOP in November, though I can see the cognitive dissonance is causing you to project.  Either that or you can say hi to Superman for me as long as you're on Earth-Two.

Um, compared to presumptive nominee Romney, the relatively (heany emphasis there; thank you Citizens United) egalitarian nature of donations to Obama's campaign is, well, rather stark by the evidence you provided.

Backwards we think on Bizzaro world!

Citizens United has nothing to do with this, that graphic didn't include SuperPACs.  Of course you already knew that; being so highly-qualified in the legal arts.

That's one of the more bizarre shifts of the goalposts I've ever seen.  You were claiming that "the vast majority" of money Obama's campaign receives comes from small donations.  Not only is it not true that "a vast majority" comes from small donations, in fact not even a majority does.  It wouldn't matter if Mitt Romney were running a campaign financed entirely by Scrooge McDuck and John Gotti; that has nothing to do with what you were claiming.

No, that was Lief using that language. FWIW, I would not have used such sweeping terms. Though compared to any other winning presidential campaign in history.............

The facts as I stated, and coroborated by your own citation, remain unchanged.
