Indeed. I'm by no means a supporter of Mormonism, but why should that be considered creepy? It's part of their religion, and it has no impact whatsoever on how Romney would handle the job of President.

And then Mormons have to go ahead and tarnish it with creepy garbage like this.  There should be no religious test for public office, but America should really look into what this guy believes and how it guides him.  It's just too wacky to be irrelevant.

No one's forcing Mormons to be Mormon (except other Mormons). Other types of bigotry are worse because you don't choose to be black, or Hispanic, or gay, or Jewish (culturally), or....

Well, it's not just atheists they do it to. Non-Mormon Christians like belgiansocialist and I certainly don't see it as victimless in theory, even though it is of course completely ineffectual.
