Now the "scandal" is that Bella wasn't at CHOP, she was at a hospital in Virginia (spare us the jokes). So because his website mistakenly said she was here in Philly, local talking heads are screaming that Santorum himself intentionally lied.

Because I'm sure that when his daughter appeared to be on her deathbed, Santorum really cared to say she was being treated in Philadelphia when she wasn't. Though maybe it was done as a distraction so there wouldn't be some media circus outside of her actual hospital. Not sure that that's the right thing to do but that might be the reason.

I agree with Phil. There are reasons why Santorum is a HP. This is not one of them.
