stop-at-nothing, and also selectively harebrained, moderators, who see Atlas as their own lump of Play-Doh, ready to be molded into any ball, cylinder, or, given their likely predilections, inverted penis, that they wish
...and are right.

Except the Mikado of course. Way out of line with that comment, trying to end the show. Somebody infract him or something.

The "frothy" nickname is trolling.

I have seen that used tons of times. How is it trolling? Has anyone else but Wormy actually been infracted for it?
Only posters the moderators do not like get infracted for infractible behaviour. Posters they do like, they ignore it. Look at
http://uselectionatlas.org/FORUM/index.php?topic=148047.msg3176520#msg3176520

I reported this post
The post quoted should also be infracted, AND, considering it's the instigator, so should the post quoted in the quote.

Of course, the mods like themselves, so again, they won't be infracting themselves. They only infract infractible behaviour when it comes from someone who pisses them off.

edit
ask yourself a simple question. Would wormy have been infracted if it had been HE who was swearing at inks?

I've lead the charge against "Frothy" because I think we've treated jmfcst unfairly while allowing people to get away with overly anti-pro-heterosexual rhetoric.

I also got infracted by Tender, although I only got one point. I used the word Negro in a satirical sense. Apparently that was a no-no.

I mean the fact that anyone except wormy and myself will get in trouble for anything said in the thread. I don't think that is 'obvious'.

Neither you nor wormy will get infracted or in trouble (none of your posts have even been reported), so why you insert yourselves into discussions with an attitude that you know everything, when in fact you know very little to nothing about the situation over and over again, I simply don't understand why on earth you're doing it.

Pro-heterosexual is, I suppose, Politspeak for homophobic. Talking about it like that helps to ease the cognitive dissonance involved in sharing a party with people like jmfcst.

I'll remember that. So an attack against a black hating politician is in fact 'anti-pro white' rhetoric. It all makes sense.

Of all people, why would you be getting infracted here Teddo?
To answer:
why you insert yourselves into discussions with an attitude that you know everything, when in fact you know very little to nothing about the situation over and over again
And to answer that:
It's a moral and ethics question, a black and white, a right and wrong, and when it comes to morals and ethics, all of us know everything.

Back to BK:
Normally when I point out that the certain specific moderators are doing something unethical, I do get attacked for it.

Explain how I instigated this...
I guess you like what appears to be dead pictures of, what I thought originally, was a dead dog draped in BBQ sauce.
In addition, what's said in private should remain in private, something that the (uugh) certain specific moderators have a problem with.

Reports are one of those, and this is a moral issue so yes I do know everything on the issue, reports, AND what's said on the moderator forum, are both private to the public, and should remain private to the public. The only reason I publicly say every single time I report someone is to head off the unethical practise of dropping the "oh really, you reported so and so" bombshell.

Ha, this thread is great. Probably my favorite all year.

Just two things I'll say:

-I didn't see the cooked raccoon picture, but I think posting explicit porn would have to be considered a bigger deal than simply cuisine that many people find disgusting, especially when done in such a malicious manner.
-I wasn't banned, but was put on mod review for two weeks just for posting a single image. Now under the current system it's entirely possible that I would've received only a 10 point infraction for that, but there certainly is precedent for far more severe consequences for a single image than simply an infraction.

one would think a thread where the jmfcst is repeatedly mentioned would be more interesting than this...so, let me help:

Dolly's Delicious 'Coon from Sylvia's Family Soul Food Cookbook: From Hemingway, South Carolina, To Harlem

1 5-lb raccoon
3 large onions
1/4 lb fatback
2 tbs red pepper flakes
1 tsp seasoned salt
2 tsp salt
2 tsp pepper
2 tsp Accent (optional)
2 cups chopped onion

You simmer the raccoon for 6 hours before baking it for another hour.

What's "fatback"? Or "Accent" for that matter, sounds like shaving cream?

I think Accent is a brand name for a mixture of seasonings...fatback is just a block of fat from a pig

now, if you perfer Baked Armadillo, then I'll have to refer you to The Cracker Kitchen: A Cookbook in Celebration of Cornbread-Fed, Down Home Family Stories and Cuisine

1 armadillo (or more if you have a crowd), removed from shell
Salt
Pepper
Chunks of apple & pineapple (about 1 1/2 c. each)
1/2 c. butter

An armadillo produces a lot of meat. The smaller ones are best for frying; the older ones need to be cooked slowly for a long time to ensure tenderness. After cutting carcass out of the shell, thoroughly wash meat. Salt and pepper armadillo. Stuff with chunks of apple and pineapple. Coat with butter and wrap in foil and place in roasting pan. Bake in a 325 degree oven until internal temperature reaches 180 degrees. Allow 30-45 minutes per pound. Allow 1/3 pound of meat per serving.

Hmmm yeah, armadillo is in "Texas Cookin".

I'm going down to Austin, Texas
I'm going down to save my soul
Get that barbecue and chili
Eat my fill then come back home
I'm gonna take my baby with me
We gonna have a high ol' time
We gonna eat till we get silly
Sho' do make a beer taste fine

Chorus
Oh my, momma ain't that Texas Cookin' something
Oh my, momma it'll stop yo' belly and backbone bumpin'
Oh my, momma ain't that Texas Cookin' good
Oh my, momma eat it everyday if I could

I know a man cook armadillo
tastes so sweet he calls it pie
I know a woman makes pan dulce
tastes so good it gets you high

Get them enchiladas greasy
get them steaks chicken fried
Sho' do make a man feel happy
to see white gravy on the side

Chorus

I know a place that got fried okra
beat anything I ever saw
I know a man that cook cabrito
it must be against the law

We gonna get a big ol' sausage
a big ol' plate of ranch style beans
I could eat the heart of Texas
we gonna need some brand new jeans

Chorus

The infraction for the original post was ridiculous.  A clear case of "I don't like the poster, so we'll act with a heavy hand."

If that was trolling, then Inks and a mod of his choice can go make all the Santorum they can and paint it on their faces like a coffee grounds beard.

Telling you to f-word off is hardly a hissy fit.  Unlike hissy fits, it requires the exact amount of effort it deserves.

And 10 points for "nudity" is what you proposed, genius.

That's nothing man.

I get ten points on an almost weekly basis now for saying the f-word or making inappropriate sexual jokes about Billy Graham's dead mother or making drunken posts about how much the eighties sucked besides the hot women and the New Wave.

If I were in your shoes they would've come to my house and then take me into a back alley and shot my ass dead.

EDIT: Just came to the realization that I'm like near Death here.  So I modified the post.
