I considered that the more lenient option, rather than deleting it or whatever. All I have never heard of that movie; all I did was edit your post to match the title of the youtube video you posted so that the racist word was removed.

I have this nagging feeling that if we underlings were to see the moderators' forums, we'd really get to know them for the hypocrites they are.  I know for a fact that they say things that they would turn around and infract on the forum at large.

I think people should just ignore the moderators.  If they want to start infracting everybody and ban everybody... so be it.  We could easily regroup elsewhere.

Give an example of a partial moderation action that I've undertaken.

You infracted me for my Hillsong thread for "trolling" and moved it despite that it was about a church, deleted my tattoos thread supposedly for mentioning Pokemon and infracted it 4 points, and defended Joe in the BBC incident with the logic basically being "Well Rochambeau is annoying so anything that embarrasses him is OK" which despite the absurdity of that ignores that the real victim would be anyone on a public computer who happened across one of his posts.

The moderator's forum is like a legislative body that's divided 50/50. There's a lot of arguing, no consensus, and nothing ever gets done aside from minor housekeeping.

How is that biased? The R&P board is not for threads that vaguely refer to things that are religious. I stated this in my guidelines for the board. If you want to talk about a cool song it doesn't go in R&P because it mentions a church. Just like it wouldn't go into Internatioal General Discussion even if it mentions a foreign country. This should be pretty obvious.

I moderate everyone that way on my board. You did get higher points at some point because you were a repeat offender who didn't seem to be getting the message.

And, of course, it's not as if I instigated it. By my count, I moderated 7 posts of yours on my board. 4 of those were reported by other people.

I mean, you never contribute anything to the board. You're fundamentally a very un-philosophical person - your posts can never give anything to anyone else intellectually. You're the kind of person who would get 0 points on a philosophy exam.

It should also be noted that one of your threads which I infracted and moved to off-topic was considered trolling even for off-topic by that moderator. To be honest, I think most on the mod team agree that well over 90% of all of your posts are useless spam and trolling. If there was ever a case of someone getting leeway due to having been around for long, it's you. A new poster who behaved like you would be banned within a couple of weeks.

I'm not sure what the tattoo thing you're talking about is. I can't find any record of that.

EDIT: never mind, found it. Getting a religious tattoo is a personal lifestyle thing. The R&P board is for discussion of religious and philosophical issues. Again, you can't post a thread about "I'm getting a tattoo of the globe" in the International board. Because getting tattoos isn't a religious topic, it's a personal topic. I don't think the pokemon thing was a main driver behind you getting infracted though.
