Governor Napoleon's brought to my attention that some see my rhetoric on healthcare in my previous post as a criticism of the New Atlasian Healthcare Act - this was not my intention, although I have a few minor quibbles with the bill as is.
My references to privitisation in the guise of "reform" was out of fear of what the conservative majority Senate might attempt to pass in the next President's term, not a dig at Senator Scott's very commendable legislation.

I wrote it, actually.
Any questions surrounding the bill you may have, I would be delighted to answer.

I will run for the NE senate seat. Has this party already made an endorsement in that race?

I don't have any pipe dreams about getting your endorsement...but when the time comes I'd be grateful for the chance to talk with you about views we may have in common. I am a conservative and proud of it- but we can still agree on a surprising number of issues...

The only thing dissolution achieved is replading divided right with divided left.
Congrats, bgwah
Yet, I still hope for cooperation between the two left parties, even if I'm not a member of either Liberal nor Labor.

Well the RPP tried to blame Winfield for Duke losing, but Winfield earned every vote he received.

It seems as though belgiansocialist has left this Labor Party for a different type of Labor Party.
May I request a party endorsement?

A labor candidate running would benefit other left-candidates, A lot of labor voters wouldn't turn out if there wasn't one(as can be seen by the overall death of the thread).

Are we automatically endorsing Labor candidates? Because if not, we should vote on endorsing Snowy soon.

In theory Labor party should disband if we don't get 75% support for our own candidate, since we are really doing nothing productive.

Like how the Liberal Party got 0% in the last Senate election? Again, I fail to understand your desire for hyperpartisanship for the sake of hyperpartisanship. What happened to Atlasia first?

Liberal party failed to nominate a single candidate. Look what happened to their turnout. same thing will happen to the Labor party if we can't shore up the support for our candidate. Our parties are doing a disservice to people sharing their ideologies, and we would *gasp* lose another election to right-wingers. It would be better for Tweed to form a radical left party and take the dissatisfied Labor members and have the rest of Labor go into the Liberal party if the Labor doesn't want to support it's own candidate.

You have a candidate with a 31% favorability, what do you expect? It isn't the Liberals fault that Labor candidates didn't run a GOTV and you already acknowledged that mistake so I don't see why you are falsely attributing it to anything else. If the Liberals were in the race there was no way you guys would have won two seats, you know. All your candidate is doing is splitting the vote with me and Tweed to help elect a right winger or centrist ticket which is totally counterproductive especially since we know Clarence would beat Snowstalker or Tweed if they happen to get that far. It causes division that isn't needed and takes focus off of the archconservative Whigs.
