If I'm eligible to join (just recognized in the Census yesterday), I support what we've been doing so far. We appear to have only done health care and education, though.

I think we should cover all the economic issues first. Have we done trade yet?

Well, I don't see a problem with free trade as long as it's not used to hurt workers. If we can make  good labor relations conditional to free trade, then I'd be okay with that. Should we take a vote? Yes.

OK:

Is it the will of the assembled representatives of the Party that we adopt conditional support for free trade as part of the platform? I vote yes.

It's my sense that it should be free trade that's conditional that we're supporting, rather than supporting free trade but doing so conditionally. It's a subtle difference but emphasizing that the free trade is conditional is, I think, important.
As in fair trade being the norm instead of a policy only for cushioning against backwards oppressistans?

I like it. Are we going to tax-exempt any charities or churches or poor people or stuff like that?

Well, that depends on what the brackets are. We could tax billionaires at 99% and they'd still be extremely rich. Here's my idea of a possible national tax plan:

<30K 0%
30K-60K, 10%
60K-120K: 15%
120K-200K: 25%:
200K-500K: 35%:
500K-1M: 45%
1M-10M: 60%
10M-100M: 75%
100M-1B: 90%:
>1B: 99%

Sure. Also, should we run candidates for the Senate seats? I'm considering a go at it.

Uh, why is everyone supporting Tweed?

you may as well ask why everyone is supporting zombie George Washington (should such a thing come to pass).
Zombie Washington Down in Polls:

Our latest survey shows that only 42% of Ohioans would vote for Zombie George Washington instead of incumbent President S92348tnuwerltnu23woprt8w Smith.
"I wouldn't want someone to eat my flesh, even if he did serve in the Revolution." remarked a respondent in Columbus.

I should remind you that I am an at-large Senator.

I am, however, thinking of not running for reelection.
I'm just talking about the special election.

Let's make it happen.

It is the sense of the Party that the revivification of Atlasia as laid out in Boss Tweed's current platform is of absolute necessity for any serious Presidential candidate in these lethargic times.

Good? It even has a Paul Verlaine reference.
I withdraw my previous acceptance pending further information about the nature of Tweed's ideas.

The ideas I was referring to at that point were his presidential platform, which was before he declared his revolution.

Again, Tweed, get in here, please.
Ah. I support his platform, though I'm not so sure about this 'revolution'.

Hold on, I have a question:

Do my Senate office and my campaign office have to be separate? Because Clarence's and TJ's are, but Pingvin's is.

You guys better defeat the primary system, we have IRV voting for a reason.
That won't apply to at-large elections.

Good luck, y'all! And Snowy: thanks for your GOTV. I really appreciate it.

Was invited to join the Liberal party, but I feel I should stand with real left-wingers rather than moderate heroes and join here. That cool with you guys?
Of course. BTW, I think 'Stand with real left-wingers' should be our new slogan.

Agreed!

The Senate poll's not looking very good. None of us are currently in the top 5.

For whatever it's worth, the dissolution inspired me to become active, and there are several other new active players for whom this seems to be the case as well. (Not that I've been around long enough to have much perspective.)

Same here.
