None of this is surprising.

Last I heard, Nazis were allowed to vote. I guess people are no longer entitled to their beliefs, no matter how hatefull. I do not give a flying **** if any of these people vote for Paul; in fact, I hope they do, because its more votes for him, even if it is from a controversial group.

Doesn't Obama get support from controversial people. Like Bill Ayers? Van Jones? Communist and Socialist support him. Big deal, it does not discredit him.

Van Jones was a fine politician whose career was cut short by smears straight from the Goebbels playbook.

Who is to say Nick Griffin is any worse? I hate both of them. But they can vote for whoever they want. Bill Ayers was a terrorist. Dom Black is a Nazi. Both awful things, but, who cares? They can support whoever they want. Privately, or publicly, it does not matter. At the end of the day, these guys will vote for their candidate, whoever it is.

Edit: In the article, a guy named Bill Young is interviewed. Tell me: Who do you trust, a former neo Nazi who got pissed at the group for something (likely involving a position of power), or Congressman Paul.

In hindsight, I’m incredibly embarrassed by that post.....none the less, the feeling holds up.

This may be the first ever time the internet has attacked Paul, of course. Wink

*banging head off desk*

Seriously? Someone who wants to be President of the United States is meeting with Nick Griffin?

Then again, Paulism is (arguably) the closest thing the United States has to the European far-right, so I guess that makes sense.

The Paulite obsession with "The Fed" and "bankers" is suspicious enough.

This makes Paul's recent Nevada comments  more ironic.  He basically came out in favor of continual immigration of non-European people (by saying he supported immigration in general) and showed some sympathy for Mexican immigrants.  A basic attribute of all of the  European far right-wing and even much of the center right-wing is opposition to mass immigration of foreigners.

I think his links to racist groups has been known for quite some time.

In other news, bears sh**t in the woods  and the pope is catholic. Do we seriously need so many attack threads on Paul when all attacks on Newt are in the one thread?

It just clarifies that the points of synergy are not based on immigration/racial issues, but economic ones.

Tom Knapp has a relatively objective analysis that downplays the link somewhat.

Interesting read; I find Anonymous's willingness to put private citizens home adresses and phone numbers online to be distrurbing, even if they are neo Nazis.
