Congrats. Ben only won because I was betrayed from within my own party.

Congrats. Ben only won because I was betrayed from within my own party.

Ben won because he was the better candidate..  Well done Mideast Smiley

He won because he had Whig friends who crossed over out of friendship. He was not the better candidate. I delivered a better vision and was more active than he was. Three of the Gang of Four specifically said so.

This race taught me that Napoleon.

Cincinnatus, some of them are in Tmfth's new party now. You are wrong on the theory of him winning based of his qualifications. It was based off friendship and I was told that.

My sincerest apologies for jacking your thread. I saw something I felt was said wrong and had to call the person out on it. I wasn't disputing Ben's experience. It was the fact that 4 individuals failed to look past their personal friendship with a candidate when their views were much closer to the other that made the difference in this race.

JCL, all I want to dispute is the activity claim.  I've been arguably the most active member of the Senate in terms of introduced amendments/legislation, active participation in debate, and votes.  To say I was anything other than insanely active is crazy.

With regards to your activity as senator I don't dispute. Maybe I missed campaign activity you did and that's what I was calling out. If I'm wrong on campaign I stand corrected.

With regard to the tax rates do you support Polnuts rates, mine, or something in between.

If you meant campaign activity, then I'll yield.

Improve that aspect and I think you could be considered amongst the greats.
