The only question left in MN: is there a county where Romney will win?

Reading the 3012 boards dulls one's sense of irony.
Seriously. How many times can we read about the Obamachine 3000 pulling ahead of the Reagantronix QLZ in the race for Mars Mutant Colony's 48 electoral votes? Sheesh!
All life is a blur of Republicans and meat.

Romney should drop out.
No, Gingrich should. Then we can unite behind Santorum.

Santorum now ahead of Romney in St. Louis County, 48% to 31%.

St. Louis County flips to Santorum.
City and Boone are the only 2 counties that Mitt is winning tonight. If Santorum can flip St. Louis city, he could sweep MO.
Santorum's winning every county but Winona, Boone and St. Louis City tonight.

My enthusiasm is being hampered by the fact that Gingrich is going to cost us Colorado. Surely if Mitt wins without breaking 40% there Newt has to realize that he's doing far more harm to the anti-Romney forces than good. The fact that Rick is going to carry two out of three states tonight makes him the only ABR choice left, especially if these victories gain him the kind of media coverage they should. If Newt wants any kind of future in a possible Republican administration he needs to back out. Yeah, I know it's Newt Gingrich, but still...

We are not a footnote.
In 5 weeks you will be.
Ok, dude. The fact of the matter is Santorum had an impact of this race while the rest of you were doubled over in laughter a month and a half ago, saying he would be out immediately after a disastrous performance in Iowa (or sooner). And only a few had the class to give him credit and admit you were wrong. Instead, it's "LOL HE WILL BE A LOSER SOON ENOUGH!"
Hmm. Gotta apologize to Phil here ...

So far, Mitt has only won 2 counties tonight.
He hasn't won any. Those two in Missouri have reported only a miniscule number of precincts.

He's down to 1 right now, Boone in Missouri with all of 4% of the vote in.

I'd be surprised if more than 15% vote in MO.
There are 4.2 Mio. voters in MO, so this would mean roughly 630.000 voters
In 2008, there were 1.45 Mio. voters (850K on the Dem side and 600 on the GOP side).
I think GOP turnout will be roughly 350-450K today and the rest belongs to the Democrats (ca. 100-150K).
That should also be not too bad of a prediction ...
