Of course not - Romney won't be out of this race until November 7th, 2012. Then he'll become President-elect. Smiley

Time to wake up now, buddy.

I think Romney would win majority of southern states against Santorum, so we need Gingrich to prevent Romney from winning.

There are a lot of valid arguments here. First, Romney was the conservative alternative to McCain in 2008 and won them with McCain losing. Second, Missouri was contested and this time it wasn't. Third, I don't think McCain won a single caucus anyway in 2008 and had no problem winning the nomination. If he loses Arizona, I would begin to worry that Rick is for real. Right now, in my mind, he won a string of uncontested caucus where turnout and media attention was low. He should be the alternative to Romney over Newt though. Newt needs to drop out.

It's too premature.

I mean, he's still leading in both popular vote and delegate count. Can you imagine a candidate who's leading in both to drop out at this point?

Romney leads in the delegate count and lost three caucus states, two of which he barely campaigned in, so he should drop out? There's some great logic.

Yes. The Republicans want to nominate an imperialist bigot so they're going for the real deal. Mittens just isn't a good actor.

For the good of the party, it's time for Mitt Romney to stop his quixotic campaign and endorse Rick Santorum, the Republican frontrunner.
