Also, his choice of words is strange; Obama has already been elected.

I'll never forget watching Root speaking at the Libertarian convention on C-SPAN in 2008, going on about how he's next in line to be the nominee. It was really awkward.

THIS. I'm glad he's given up on the whole libertarian thing, like Bob Barr, he wasn't helping our cause.

Root is a bigoted sleazeball and is in no way representative of the average libertarian. Team Romney will probably just ignore this endorsement, but they would be better served by flatly rejecting it. However, that would require some semblance of principle which would run contrary to Romney's campaign strategy.

One more reason not to vote for Willard.

I'm not the biggest Gary Johnson fan, but if you are actually a libertarian, there's no excuse for endorsing someone who supports more wars, the war on drugs, TARP, National ID Card, Patriot Act, torture, and NDAA.

^^^^^^

WAR is the epitome of a LINO. Bob Barr wasn't great, but he was exponentially better than Root.

Well, WAR at least doesn't have the baggage of voting for the PATRIOT Act, the Iraq War and authoring DOMA. Oh, and then there's this.

Yeah he flip-flopped on all of them, though. But the Gingrich thing...gross.
