Looks interesting & i might just see it, but it seems more of the type to be a Frank Miller comic book. All the elements are there: ridiculous sci- fi, caricature of famous political figure, fixation with Nazis, etc. I really would rather read this as a "graphic novel" than as a movie.

They've only adjusted a few elements of the original true story, you know, for Hollywood.  But otherwise it looks good.  An improvement on the History Channel's documentary, at least.

Hollywood, Bollywood, Ölliiyööd, it's all the same in the end.  They took a true story, changed a few superficial details for dramatic effect, and voila.  That's how movies are made.

When I clicked on the 1st trailer, I actually thought this would be a serious Michael Bay/Roland Emmerich-like movie and not a parody.

In the sense of "they examined the Voyager probe, saw Hitler on that disc that had all the human information on it and then the aliens all became Nazis, made their way to Earth and finished what Hitler couldn't do". LOL.

If most people in foreign countries really believe Palin could ever be elected President that's pretty embarrassing. Not any more stupid than many things a majority of Americans believe about other countries granted, but still...

Palin as POTUS is probably intended as a part of the parody. Who else should they pick as US President in 2018 ? Newt Gingrich ? Who in the end turns out to be a collaborateur of the Moon Nazis ?

Most movies with a fictional president just go with a generic middle aged white guy. Would work best here too.

In that case, why does Palin have an extremely exaggerated Southern accent? She's not from the South, has never lived there, and her Alaska accent is one of her most distinctive features. It would be like if the movie had Dubya as president and had him talking like Donald Trump.
