I'm curious what's up with this ED (49 in the 42nd ward) in Chicago McCain got 68% (190-79)of the vote, but the ED's surrounded by 20% McCain districts.

How moody are they? Or are their bibles moody?

He was one of the top evangelists of his day, a bit like a Billy Graham of the 19th century.

Chicago is nothing more than a haven of political corruption and back door politics where deals are cut and policies stem from there. In this election we need to send Obama back there where he belongs. Look at the Blagojovich instance for example. Seats and positions are auctioned at the highest bid and votes are either "lost" or "not legible."

What's the largest ED that voted for McCain that can be drawn within Chicago?

What's an ED? Sounds like "electoral district", but I don't know that'd be for.

Yes, as in how big can a ward/state house district/state senate district, etc. be drawn within Chicago that voted for McCain.

as usual McCains best areas in cities are dominated by Jews and Catholics
in Mount Greenwood the biggest I could get was 30,140 people
in Rogers Park the biggest I could get was 14,595 people
in Edison Park the biggest I could get was 4,962 people
in Garfield Ridge the biggest I could get was 4,065 people

just for the record in NYC I can get over 2,200,000 people going from the Southshore of SI away up to Woodlawn, and over 115,000 in North East Philadelphia (I can push it to 190,000 in all of Philadelphia if I use the Delaware River and leave islands of spots not in the district)
