Remember that Western PA where Santorum is supposedly more popular amongst Democrats swung against Obama heavily anyway, and Santorum probably doesn't have much popularity beyond straight ticket GOP voters (basically whoever voted McCain in 2008) in the Philly suburbs.

In terms of national average or raw numbers? He might do a bit better in some areas than McCain but his margin will depend on whether Obama does better or worse than he did in 2008 nationwide.
