Yeah, see, that's why I put the ballot up for review a day before the election, 'cause I'm reckless.

If nobody declares and nobody accepts write-in votes, does the Senate proceed without a Senator?

My guess is someone would be appointed by the Governor.

That occurred to me, but if nobody declared and nobody accepted write-ins, it doesn't seem likely the governor (do they even have a governor?) could find somebody to appoint.

I think he's weighing whether he wants to stay in the Senate or try and fix the Midwest.

He said he didn't want another term and (I think) stepped down.

He said he didn't want another term and (I think) stepped down.

So the Lieutenant Governor is presumably the Governor, now?  If not, then a special election must be held ASAP.

EDIT: According to the Midwest Constitution:

In the Althing thread, they were asking for new people to be Prime Verin/Deputy Verin; nobody ever won the election or swore in.

I intend to run for the Senate seat for the Midwest but am learning this all as I go, so for awhile I may be a bit confused about what needs to be done, where, and when. Smile

If I'm not reelected to the Assembly, I'm moving there to get back in the Senate help revitalize the government.

However, it has been an unconstitutionally long time since an election was held - repeatedly, in fact, for several months.  The Prime Verinship has likely gone vacant multiple times and we haven't noticed.  Like I've said, I'm weighing whether I want to try to fix this or if there's anything I feel like I can do on the national level still, but right now I'm leaning towards the Midwest.  I'd suggest anyone who's interested in a Senate seat should move to the Midwest and declare their candidacy.  Multiple people showing up will lead to a competitive race, which would only be a good thing.  If I change my mind, then I look forward to trouncing you an honest debate of principles Wink

Because Nathan indicated that "Napoleon will be running with Labor support". He gave no indication of whether it applied to Kal or the ticket as a whole.
